Threat Recognition Cues

Ok, so here's a little vignette. Look at the video (below), and see what pre-threat cues the thief displays. Sideways glances (for observers), a general attention to the area followed by a specific intention toward the victim. Feigning sleepiness. Close proximity. Shifting weight. Grooming. Any  more?

Training should include recognising these key indicators, and including them in our partner work so that our training partners get used to picking up on them by seeing them manifested prior to an incident.

Hiatus

Back after a (semi) short hiatus... I've been busy doing lots of traveling and teaching. Various Krav instructor courses, seminars, and testings; from Eire to Greece. Good fun, but very draining, and rather time-consuming. I've written a few bits and pieces for the blog whilst traveling though (and have a few other ideas too), so will hopefully put them up over the coming weeks. Some are relatively new ideas; others are old wine in new bottles...
